Can 80s/90s hits be mixed with current music?
Absolutely, it\'s actually our speciality! Many of our clients want a smart blend of retro classics and current hits. We can dedicate a 1- to 2-hour block to the 80s/90s, or weave retro hits throughout the night between contemporary tracks. The DJ adapts the mix in real time according to the energy of the floor.
What are the most requested hits at a retro party?
The essentials include "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson, "Take On Me" by A-ha, "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston for the 80s, and "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls, "No Limit" by 2 Unlimited, "What Is Love" by Haddaway for the 90s. Do you offer retro-themed decorations?
Our service focuses on music entertainment and lighting. For the visual atmosphere, we set up neon, disco balls, smoke and strobes that recreate the atmosphere of the discos of the era. For pure decoration (balloons, posters, costumes), we can recommend specialised partners.
How much does a DJ cost for a retro party?
Our retro party packages start from 800 € excl. VAT (6% VAT on artistic services) for 6 hours of entertainment (sound & lighting optional, packs from 250 € excl. VAT). Options such as the retro karaoke (250 €), the photobooth (400 €) or the full lighting (500 €) let you tailor the experience. We provide a free custom quote for every project.
Do you operate throughout Belgium for retro parties?
Yes, we cover all of Belgium: Brussels and the surrounding area (travel included within a 50 km radius), Wallonia, Flanders and even Luxembourg or northern France on request. Travel costs beyond 50 km are 0,55 €/km. Contact us on +32 470 40 08 31 to check our availability.
