The concept
A bespoke cover band
The Cover Society is the cover band created by Prestige Sound: a bespoke band, your living jukebox. Four musicians on stage (bass, piano, guitar, drums), three voices, and everything is played live, with no playback.
The band has no standard setlist. You build your own from 146 songs, from the 1950s to today, and the repertoire follows your evening: jazz for the drinks reception, soul for dinner, hits for the dance floor. Wedding, private party or corporate event: every performance has its own list.
Quentin Steffen, who runs Prestige Sound, is a musician himself: a trumpet player and the leader of What The Funk. He produces the band. Looking for a different line-up? See all our live musicians.

Mes invités m'en parle encore des jours après tellement l'ambiance était au top et adapté à mes envies et à tous!! Le concepte de l'appli pour Personaliser l'ambiance était géniale. They captured the 1920s Great Gatsby theme flawlessly, transitioning seamlessly from sophisticated cocktail music to a high-energy party. Having the saxophonist perform right among our guests created an amazing energy that everyone is still talking about.

Quentin and his saxophonist from DJ Prestige Sound made our organization’s 100th-anniversary gala an absolute masterpiece!
Our theme was The Great Gatsby, and they embraced it 100%. From the elegant, soft 1920s jazz vibes during the welcome reception to an unforgettable, high-energy dance party later in the evening, the music was perfectly timed and tailored to the crowd.
A massive highlight was the saxophonist, who stepped off the stage and mingled right in the middle of the crowd on the dance floor. It turned the night into a live, immersive show rather than just a standard DJ set. On top of their incredible talent, Quentin was extremely professional and collaborated seamlessly with all our other event vendors to keep the night running smoothly.
If you want top-tier entertainment that elevates your event to the next level, I cannot recommend DJ Prestige Sound enough! Thank you, Quentin!

The first thing you expect from a DJ is to create a great atmosphere, and Quentin delivered so much more than that.
From our very first call all the way through to the last song on the dance floor, Quentin was exceptional. He helped us organize musicians, managed all the technical aspects of the event, and delivered an amazing DJ set to end the evening. He also arranged decorative lighting, which played a huge role in creating a beautiful and unforgettable atmosphere.
Music was one of the biggest challenges when planning our wedding, as my wife and I come from different countries and wanted to blend two very different musical cultures. Quentin took the time to truly understand our expectations and created the perfect balance, playing the right music at exactly the right moments. His professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to bring our vision to life exceeded all our expectations.
Entrusting Quentin with the entire musical side of our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We couldn’t have been happier with his service and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding DJ and event professional.

Nous avons eu la chance de profiter d'une prestation live du groupe What the Funk suivi d'une soirée animée par Quentin, le DJ trompettiste, pour notre mariage, et c'était EXCEPTIONNEL! Le groupe a envoyé du lourd du début a la fin, faisant danser même les plus timides, impossible de résister au charme et au groove enivrant de ce band. Et la soirée n'a fait que continuer avec le DJ, Quentin, qui a été d'un professionnalisme rarement vu, tant dans les échanges lors des réunions préparatoires que dans les finitions, l'attention au programme et a nos demandes, qui ont du être modifiées quelques fois mais il y avait toujours de la place pour de l'adaptation. Ils ont traversé la moitié du pays pour venir animer la soirée, dans notre jardin, et tout a roulé du début à la fin. On ne pouvait rêver mieux comme ambiance musicale, alors même si nous n'avons pas eu le temps de rencontrer tous les musiciens, un immense merci, du fond du cœur ! Si vous hésitez encore, foncez, les yeux fermés !

Choisir Prestige sound , c’est choisir la qualité, la fiabilité et l’excellence.
En tant qu’organisatrice d’événements chez event your life, travailler avec eux est un véritable soulagement. Je sais que je peux compter sur une équipe autonome, professionnelle, talentueuse et parfaitement rodée. Leur niveau de préparation et leur sérieux me permettent de me concentrer sur le reste de l’événement en toute confiance.
Musicalement, c’est toujours un sans-faute. Ils mettent une ambiance incroyable, s’adaptent au public et livrent une prestation de très haut niveau. En plusieurs collaborations, je n’ai jamais reçu le moindre retour négatif. Bien au contraire : les invités comme les clients sont toujours ravis 🖤
Je les recommande sans la moindre hésitation à toutes les personnes qui recherchent un groupe live pour leur événement. Avec Prestige Sound, on réserve les yeux fermés.

Merci à toute l'équipe d'avoir animé notre mariage avec tellement de professionnalisme ! Quentin et son équipe, Maxime et Martin ont tout fait pour que l'ambiance musicale corresponde à nos attentes. J'ai personnellement pu entendre les musiques que j'avais sélectionnées dans la playlist., et Maxime a su y intégrer d'autres musiques qui ont fait danser tous les invités même sous une chaleur accablante ! Martin et son saxo nous ont accompagné pendant la cérémonie et le vin d'honneur ! c'est super chouette !! Merci encore pour tout ! Je recommande !

Ils se sont occupés de l’animation musicale de notre mariage ainsi que de notre cérémonie laïque, et toute notre expérience avec eux a été un véritable plaisir du début à la fin.
Dès les premiers échanges, nous nous sommes sentis parfaitement accompagnés. Quentin et Jessica sont à la fois très professionnels, réactifs, à l’écoute et force de proposition. Leur organisation et leur implication nous ont permis d’aborder notre grand jour en toute sérénité.
Le jour J, tout était parfaitement orchestré : la cérémonie, l’ambiance musicale et la soirée se sont déroulées exactement comme nous l’avions imaginé. Ils ont su créer une atmosphère exceptionnelle et faire danser nos invités jusqu’au bout de la nuit !
Nous avons également suivi leur recommandation concernant la photographe, Vally, qui nous a laissé une excellente impression. Discrète, professionnelle et très agréable, elle a su nous mettre à l’aise tout au long de la journée. Nous avons maintenant hâte de découvrir les photos et de revivre tous ces merveilleux moments à travers son regard.

Quentin et Jessica ont construit notre cérémonie de mariage toute à notre image et avec l'aide de nos témoins. Ils ont été très disponibles et à l'écoute. Quentin au piano, Jessica comme officiante et cerise sur le gâteau, une violoniste incroyable. Une cérémonie haute en couleur mais aussi en émotion. C'était plus beau que ce qu'on avait rêvé. Quentin a animé la soirée comme un chef d orchestre : musique d ambiance pendant le repas puis soirée…et à répondu positivement aux demandes complémentaires de mes fils : discours, quizz, chant et vidéo en prévoyant l’écran et la sonorisation aux différents endroits !

What is The Cover Society?
A bespoke cover band created by Prestige Sound: four musicians (bass, piano, guitar, drums), three voices, no backing tracks. The band has no standard setlist: you choose the songs.
How much does The Cover Society cost?
The package starts at 2 000 € excl. VAT for two hours of live music with four musicians. The final price depends on the date, the venue and the running order: you get it in a detailed quote within 24 h.
How do we choose the songs?
With the tool on this page: tick your songs from the 146 on offer, from the 1950s to today, then send us your selection. The final setlist is then built with you.
What if our song is not on the list?
The music for your first dance, played live, is included in the package. For other songs outside the list, there is an option: three songs arranged for you. Mention them in your quote request.
How long does the band play?
Two hours of live music. Tell us when you picture the band during your event: drinks reception, dinner or party.
Events we cover?
Weddings, private parties and corporate events. The repertoire adapts to each moment: jazz for the drinks reception, soul for dinner, hits for the dance floor.
Who is behind the band?
Prestige Sound. Quentin Steffen, who runs the company, is a musician himself: a trumpet player and the leader of What The Funk. He produces The Cover Society.
Is the sound system included?
No. Sound and lighting are not included in the package: the venue provides them, or they are added as an option in your quote.
Can we add a DJ?
Yes. The package covers the band's two hours of live music; a Prestige Sound DJ can complete the evening, at a reduced rate, in the same quote.
